Introducing the DeWalt® Professional 18V 6.35mm (1/4″) XR Brushless Router Bare Unit, ideal for a wide variety of tasks, including routing for inlay cavities and hinge mortises, rounding edges, flush trimming, hardwood edging and a whole lot more.
The XR Brushless Router features Brushless Motor Technology for excellent efficiency and increased power delivery, resulting in less wear and increased longevity. Powered by XR Batteries, the Brushless Motor delivers the power to meet the demands of the toughest applications. It’s variable speed trigger allows for quick and convenient speed changes for preference or application, by adjusting the force applied to the speed trigger switch, the user has full speed control from 16,000 – 27,000 OPM for a variety of projects.
With a Soft-starting motor providing full-time electronic feedback, maintaining motor speed through the cut, an Adjustment Ring enabling controlled bit depth changes, a Large, Low-Pressure Spindle Lock button for comfortable, single wrench bit changes, multiple shaft-lock detents, enabling quick and simple bit changes, a Depth Ring and Clamping Mechanism combine to ensure the Brushless Motor remains locked in position, a Spring-Loaded Release Tabs allow for quick base removal, an Aluminium Motor housing and Base construction provides long term durability and Extended Sub-Base provides greater work surface contact for improved user control.
Safety features include Dual LED’s and a clear sub-base ensures maximum visibility to the workpiece.
