Introducing the DeWalt® 18V XR Brushless Compact Bandsaw Bare Unit, ideal for cutting lengths of metal, including threaded rod, unistrut and steel pipework with little or no sparks when cutting metal and provides smooth cuts leaving surfaces burr-free.
The XR Brushless Compact Bandsaw features Brushless Motor Technology for excellent efficiency and increased power delivery, resulting in less wear and increased longevity. Powered by XR Batteries, the Brushless Motor delivers the power to meet the demands of the toughest applications. It’s variable speed trigger allows for quick and convenient speed changes for preference or application, by adjusting the force applied to the speed trigger switch, the user has full speed control from 150 to 380 surface feet per minute for a variety of applications.
Designed for one-handed use, The Compact Bandsaw is well balanced and easy to handle in all orientations as well as overhead, its over-mould grip and textured anti-slip hand support provides ultimate comfort and control during sawing. The Bandsaw Blade moves at a relatively slow speed when compared to machines such as Jigsaws, Circular Saws and Angle Grinders, resulting in smoother finishes, with little to no burring. With its large 63mm Cut Capacity, it is capable of cutting up to DN 50 or 2in SCH 40 pipe.
Includes a TSTAK carry case, all TSTAK storage boxes and containers can easily be stacked and attached for quick organization and storage in the shop, or on the job site.
