Introducing the DeWalt® Professional 18V XR 82mm Planer Brushless Bare Unit, the world’s first 18V Brushless battery operated Planer. It’s lightweight, compact and ergonomic design makes for a well balanced handheld Planer for both horizontal and vertical planing, whilst maintaining comfortable use in all orientations.
The XR Planer features Brushless Motor Technology for excellent efficiency and increased power delivery, resulting in less wear and increased longevity. Powered by XR Batteries, the Brushless Motor delivers the power to meet the demands of the toughest applications.
With a Twin Blade Drum and 82mm reversible Tungsten Carbide Tipped blades, the XR Planer has the power to plane a Depth of Cut of 2.0mm in soft wood and 1.0mm in hard wood. It has a discreet on-board blade storage area, with integrated Torx Key for quicker blade changes and a O.1mm increment depth adjustment for fine adjustment and a smoother finish.
Safety features include a large Front and Rear Shoe for increased accuracy and improved stability, AirLock port compatible with the spring loaded Dust Bag Attachment for instant dust collection or dust extraction system and Foot Lock Off to stand the XR Planer above the work surface.
Includes a TSTAK carry case, all TSTAK storage boxes and containers can easily be stacked and attached for quick organization and storage in the shop, or on the job site.
